Just in time for Halloween, Symphony San Jose conjures up some of music’s scariest hits. Join everyone’s “Spookiest” conductor, Peter “the Count” Jaffe, for a musical journey into the dark side. The kids will love this program.
Conductor Peter Jeffe and Symphony San Jose summon music’s most legendary champions, as well as some deliciously dangerous foes. From bold, triumphant themes that celebrate courage and hope, to dark, chilling scores that revel in mischief and menace, this spine-tingling concert brings the eternal battle between heroes and villains to life in full symphonic splendor. Whether you cheer for the light or secretly root for the dark side, this is one concert where everyone leaves thrilled.
Symphonic Spectacular is the perfect Halloween concert for the entire family. An on-stage Costume Contest with Spooktacular prizes will be held for those who feel like dressing up. And if costumes aren’t your thing, fear not. Come as you are and enjoy the costume parade.

Dress to enchant and join our costume parade, showcase your creativity, celebrate with the Symphony community, and you could take home one “spooktacular” prize! If dressing up isn’t your style, you’re still welcome to join the fun and enjoy the festive costume parade. Whether you’re in costume or not, there’s plenty of excitement for everyone!

SPECIAL DISCOUNTED YOUTH TICKETS: Adult patrons may purchase single tickets for accompanying guests 17 years of age or younger at half price. Contact the Ticket Office for more information.
