Chora Nova, a Berkeley-based chorus directed by John Kendall Bailey, announces auditions for all voice parts for the 2026-27 season. We present innovative programs featuring a mix of well-known and unusual works from the Baroque to the 21st century. Our concerts are frequently accompanied by an orchestra and we always use professional vocal soloists. Our chorus is a friendly, welcoming group, with opportunities to socialize outside of rehearsals. We offer a  limited number of scholarships to offset tuition costs.

Female singers invited to audition for the upcoming 2026-2017 season! Voci is an acclaimed women’s chorus of 24-30 members. We are dedicated to musical excellence, performing both new works as well as treasured repertoire within the classical choral tradition. We rehearse Wednesday evenings at Orinda Community Church.

Are you an experienced vocalist looking for challenging repertoire and a welcoming, diverse choral community? We’d love for you to join us! Sacred and Profane Chamber Chorus has openings in soprano and tenor sections, with possible openings in alto and baritone/bass sections for our 2026–27 season. Fall rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

We are performing a healing, musical offering designed to be a sanctuary of sound, providing profound comfort and emotional healing for those navigating loss, caregiving, or the need for a quiet moment of grace.
